#1. Waikiki Beach, Oahu (Honolulu, Hawaii)
Oahu is part of the Hawaiian island chain and has the state’s capital in it: Honolulu. Waikiki Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Oahu. This comes to no surprise as this beach actually consists of eight different sections. No matter where you go, there always appears to be some activity and excitement. From boogie boarding and surfing to snorkeling and tanning, the activities are endless.

#2. Miami Beach, Florida (South Beach included)
With its enticing night life and extravagant beaches, Miami is truly a must-see city whether you want to travel with family, friends, or a significant other. People from all over the world come to visit its beaches, architecture, food, and cultural attractions such as museums.

#3. Siesta Key Beach, Florida
Words are endless when it comes to describing the beauty of this beach. As a result of its location near Sarasota, FL, it doesn’t seem to get much attention from tourists because it isn’t well-known. HOWEVER, you will not be disappointed when you travel to this beach.
In 2011, it was voted as the #1 Beach in America by Dr. Leatherman, who is a director of a reputed laboratory for Coastal Research.
It is also well known for it’s sugary white sand. In contrast to most beaches that are made from coral, Siesta Key’s sand is made from 99% quartz that is broken down into a fine white powder. As a result of its chemical properties, quartz is able to disperse heat from the sun, leaving the sand ultimately cool and comfortable.

#4. Clearwater Beach, Florida
North to Siesta Key is the beautiful scenery of Clearwater. Known for its marine life and aquariums, Clearwater is perfect for family trips and couples. Clearwater hugs a three-mile long stretch of the Pinellas Peninsula packed with numerous restaurants and hotels.

An iconic figure of Myrtle Beach is the Skywheel, which towers in the sky at 200 feet. This ferris wheel will give you and your family a bird’s eye view of the tremendous high-rise hotels and glistening blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Cape May continues to exceed the expectations set by tourists every year. It has some of the most beautiful beaches on the east coast.

#8. Nantucket, Massachusetts
